Understanding and adhering to the hair studio policies and procedures is fundamental to ensuring a positive and seamless experience for both our clients and our team. These guidelines are designed to provide clarity on various aspects, including appointment scheduling, cancellation policies, pricing structures, and salon etiquette!
By familiarizing yourself with all policies, you contribute to the overall efficiency of the services to help maintain a welcoming and respectful atmosphere. Additionally, it empowers you with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about your haircare and styling preferences.
PROFESSIONAL STANDARD
All services will be performed in accordance with industry best practices and in compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND RESPONSIBILITY
The client acknowledges that hairstyling services, including but not limited to cutting, coloring, and chemical treatments, involve inherent risks. While “Denise Larell Hair Studio '' exercises utmost care and skill, the client understands that individual results may vary based on client’s communication and honesty concerning hair type, condition, and other factors.
Furthermore, Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding their hair history, allergies, and any previous treatments. “Denise Larell Hair Studio'' is not liable for issues arising from the client's failure to disclose relevant information.
DAMAGE TO PERSONAL ITEMS
“Denise Larell Hair Studio” is not liable for any damage or loss of personal items brought into the salon by the client. Clients are encouraged to secure personal belongings during their salon visit.
RESOLUTION OF ISSUES
In the event of dissatisfaction or issues arising from the hairstyling service, clients are encouraged to communicate concerns promptly to the stylists. “Denise Larell Hair Studio'' will make reasonable efforts to address and resolve concerns to the client's satisfaction.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by law, “Denise Larell Hair Studio''shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from hairstyling services. “Denise Larell Hair Studio''s liability is limited to the cost of the hairstyling service provided.
CONSULTATIONS FOR ADJUSTMENTS (VIA EMAIL OR SCHEDULED CALL)
Clients are REQUIRED to schedule a consultation with “Denise Larell Hair Studio'' prior to their hair styling appointment to discuss any adjustments, modifications, or concerns to the originally agreed-upon service. The purpose of the consultation is to ensure clear communication and understanding of the client's desired changes.
Any adjustments or changes requested during the consultation will be discussed, and if feasible, incorporated into the hairstyling plan. If the adjustments require additional time or resources, any associated costs will be communicated to the client during the consultation.
TIMING CONSIDERATIONS
Clients are REQUIRED to schedule adjustments well in advance of the planned appointment to allow for proper preparation and allocation of resources. Last-minute adjustments may be accommodated based on availability and feasibility.
NOTICE PERIOD
Clients are REQUIRED to provide a minimum notice of 48 hours for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments. Notice must be communicated to “Denise Larell Hair Studio” through email, text, or call. Clients/Students are allowed to reschedule up to 1 time using the same deposit/payment. Rescheduled salon service or training has to be completed within 30 days from the rescheduled date.
CANCELLATION FEE
In the event of a cancellation made within the specified notice period, a cancellation fee will be charged. The cancellation fee is intended to compensate for the time and resources allocated for the scheduled appointment.
RESCHEDULING
Clients may reschedule appointments without incurring a cancellation fee if done within the specified notice period. Rescheduling requests made outside the notice period may be subject to the cancellation fee.
EXPECTATIONS (INCLUDING ARRIVAL)
Exceptions to the cancellation fee may be considered in cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Clients are required to communicate such situations promptly to “Denise Larell Hair Studio.” There is a 20 minute grace period allowed for your scheduled appointment. In case where that time is exceeded, you may be asked to reschedule or a late fee of $30 will be applied to your total balance.
FAILURE TO PROVIDE NOTICE
Clients failing to provide the required notice for cancellations or rescheduling may forfeit any prepaid fees, deposits, or promotional offers associated with the appointment.
REPEATED CANCELLATIONS
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling may impact the ability to secure future appointments and may be subject to additional conditions at the discretion of “Denise Larell Hair Studio.”
DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure an appointment for hairstyling services. The deposit amount will be communicated to the client at the time of booking.
The deposit serves as a commitment to the scheduled appointment and ensures the availability of “Denise Larell Hair Studio” and necessary resources. It will be applied towards the total cost of the hairstyling service on the day of the appointment.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
The appointment is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit. “Denise Larell Hair Studio” will provide a confirmation of the booked appointment upon successful deposit payment.
ONE-TIME TRANSFERABLE
Deposits are only transferable for ONE reschedule date unless otherwise agreed upon by “Denise Larell Hair Studio.”
This agreement encompasses all aspects of the hairstyling service, including but not limited to consultations, adjustments, cancellations, rescheduling, and client deposits. Any modifications or additions to this agreement must be agreed upon by both parties.
By scheduling an appointment with “Denise Larell Hair Studio,” the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this contract. The client accepts the responsibility to provide accurate information, adhere to cancellation policies, and comply with the terms related to adjustments and deposits.
Any adjustments to the agreed-upon hairstyling service must be communicated and confirmed in writing during the consultation process.Changes requested on the day of the appointment may be accommodated at the discretion of Denise Larell and “Denise Larell Hair Studio.”
